to our wonderful customers. 2008 ushers in our 30th Anniversary year. It was in July of 1978, that Nancy and I
bought the existing Jay Shoes in Highland
Park. Our
original location was the eastern half of the newly opened Uncle Dan’s at the
corner of Second and Central
Avenue. You
can still see the brick wall that used to be our display wall in that
store. It was in December of 1993 that
we moved into our current great location, where our close friend and landlords
Leonard and Ann Cobey had their Menswear store
bearing their name. Be on the watch this
year from July on, for celebrations of our 30 years – our big Anniversary party
will be in November, which has always been our traditional time for
celebrating. Highland Park has been a wonderful lifetime
of work for us. We want to thank you all

Our 30th
ANNIVERSARY SALE
is November 5th thru 9th – Our entire store will be 10% to 20% OFF – nothing
excluded. In addition, we will have some
fun gifts for everyone, plus a drawing for product from many of our vendors
that we deal with. This has been an
annual event for us since the beginning, and it is a great time to buy the
winter product that you know you’re going to need very soon, and save some cash
at the same time.

them and to improve your body structure at the same time. Based on our early sales, our customers

which is the first weekend in February.
Then on the last weekend of April, will be our Women’s Getaway Weekend
event. This year there are mansion
tours, lake walks, jazz concert, cooking classes, spa night, in-store specials,
and special welcomes at many of the restaurants and “libation” haunts in Lake Geneva. Go to
