Entering our 6th year in Lake Geneva   It is amazing to us that it was our 5th year officially in April this year.  It seems like we have been a part of Lake Geneva much longer.  It has been a great success thus far, and hope that we can meet all of our customer’s needs most of the time.  We know that Lake Geneva’s business is very tourist oriented, but we believe strongly in building our local customer base first.  We’re here for you – always let us know what you need from us and we’ll do our best to accomplish it.  Thanks for the past 5 years

There are events all Summer long in Lake Geneva so please go to www.lakegenevawi.com to be kept up to date.  But you really don’t need a special event to make the trip.  The beautiful cooling lake is always here, the fun restaurants are always here, the more casual Wisconsin life style is always here, and now Lake Geneva has some of the coolest, most unique stores to shop.  With all of the empty spaces you might see in your home town shopping districts, the same is not true in Lake Geneva.  We are a “hot bed” for great Retail right now – make a day trip or even a “one nighter” to see why Lake Geneva has again become one of the hottest destinations in the Midwest (just recently mentioned on the Today Show along with Charleston, North Carolina and Santa Barbara, California as a great destination to travel to for the summer!)

NAOT, ECCO, and JACK ROGERS sandals on Sale NOW!  It’s our Season Ending Sale on our regular sandal inventory from Naot, Ecco, and Jack Rogers – our biggest brand names are now 25% off of their Summer Sandals (existing stock only).  We also will allow 10% off special orders, if we don’t have the item in stock.  We know there are loyal fans of these shoe lines and expect that our remaining inventory will sell fast.  The promotion runs through August 31, 2010.

MAXWELL STREET DAYS – August 27th thru 29th – Mark your calendars!  It is the Summer’s last hurrah.  Everyone flocks to our sale, because we will have a huge selection of Spring/Summer product mixed in with some Fall product to sell at ridiculous prices.  For us, it is all about clearing our shelving, and having fun by offering enormous discounts.  You won’t be disappointed!  Our Special offer this year is Fall Rainboots at only $25 – regular price of $40.

Wine Festival at the Grand Geneva and Taste of Lake Geneva – September 10, 11, and 12th.  This is a busy and fun weekend in Lake Geneva.  To compliment the annual Wine Festival being held at the Grand Geneva, the downtown will showcase a dozen restaurants during the day under tents throughout the town, as well as on street entertainment.  It is a fun way to sample the wares of these terrific establishments, and to spend time shopping all of the new businesses that have opened up in the last couple of years.  Many stores will have promotions.  The Bootery will be offering a Free Bottle of Wine from our friend Dave Biegemann and his store Pop More Corks.  With just a $100 purchase, you will get a certificate for a free bottle of wine from the finest wine store in Lake Geneva.  It just adds to the fun of the day.  (one certificate to a household, minimum purchase $100)

Email – We strongly encourage you to sign up with our email club as we are sending out important offers to our email customers.  We’ll never barrage you with email, but you’ll want to receive the special invitations, coupons, or events information when it comes your way.  By the end of 2009, we will be completely electronic, so don’t be left out.  Send us an email requesting your name to be put on the list at info@thebootery.com.  As a side note – if you had been signed up for our email list, you would have received notification of spend $125 and a get a certificate for a free bottle of wine at Pop More Corks during Lake Geneva’s Wine Festival.  You also would have received notification of an opportunity to earn Double Preferred Customer Points.  So stay informed, and get on our email list.

COMING UP FOR THE WEEKEND?  If you are ever wondering where to stay, where to eat, what to do, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to give you a couple of our personal recommendations, but always check the Lake Geneva web site for all of the possibilities at www.lakegenevawi.com.
